Gestational surrogacy is the process whereby a woman – the gestational surrogate – consents for an embryo transfer process, otherwise known as an IVF Procedure. In this treatment, an embryo (or plural embryos) deriving from the couple obtaining the surrogacy service is implanted in the surrogate. If and when the procedure is successful, the surrogate becomes impregnated with the child of the couple (the planned parents). The amount of participation with the surrogate thereafter is absolutely up to the intended parents – typically, the couple is associated with the initial IVF treatments, as well as being present at the moment of birth of their child. They then take responsibility for the child post-delivery and make the long term changeover to legal parenthood.
The process starts by choosing a surrogate mother for your embryo and IVF procedure
Afterward we sit down together with you and adjust costs across a variety of realms including, but not limited to medical, alimentary, accommodations, legal fees, travel etc.
Reliable, safe and innovative medical rules for the IVF procedure.
Reliable, safe and thorough attention during medical appointments supervising the pregnancy.
Legal aid with respect to the nationality of your child, as well as formal adoption procedures and assuming responsibility of the baby after the surrogate has given birth
IVF is an option women choose opt for when they are experiencing problems with infertility. The conventional IVF involves removing the human oocytes from the ovaries and the fertilization process, achieved by “letting" motile spermatozoa to fertilize the oocytes into a special culture medium. This means that once embryos are formed, they are transferred into the uterine cavity through an activity called Embryo Transfer. IVF can be used to imitate the biological processes, in vivo.
IVF is chosen for women who"ve blocked or broken fallopian tubes, thus stopping the egg and sperm from meeting naturally. IVF may also help you as well as your spouse if your infertility is unexplained and/or the male spouse has a low sperm count. Other factors like mature age endometriosis, immunology, excess weight and mindset may lead people to infertility. IVF could be the option for you if these factors come into play during this stressful time in your lives.
Step 1: Follicular Development and Monitoring
During a woman"s normal menstrual cycle, LH and FSH will be the hormones that your body uses to induce development and maturation of a single oocyte. In order to optimize your pregnancy rates during IVF, it is important to have more thatn one tmature oocyte for fertilization, embryo development and transfer into the uterus. The ovaries are therefore activated using higher levels of the stimulating hormone that naturally exist within you. This is achieved using Gonadotrophin injections. Numerous stimulation regimes exist at this time, and the medical professional chooses the main one best suited to your biological system, to be able to achieve a great number of high quality oocytes. Close monitoring of the follicles (the sacs which contain the growing oocytes in the ovaries) is necessary and it is achieved with consistent ultra-sound to be able to find out their size and their numbers . At the correct timing, more hormones will be given, aiding with the ultimate maturation of the oocytes. Predicated by all the available responses and laboratory conclusions, the best time for the restoration will be established.
Step 2: Oocyte Recovery
This is the actual procedure by which the doctor gathers the oocytes of the female body, a procedure demanding anesthesia. A little needle enters the upper portion of the vagina, through the guidance of the ultrasound, into the ovary"s follicles. The fluid that is aspirated will be studied in the lab, where the oocytes will be identified and transferred into culture media in an incubator at 37oC to continue the maturation process for a few more hours.
Step 3: Fertilization of OOCYTS
In this step, your partner must give his test of sperm on the day of the oocyte restoration which will be preserved until needed). His sperm will be carefully made ready with a special treatment and the healthy spermatozoa separately. There are approximately 100,000 motile spermatozoa added per oocyte, with 4-6 hours after oocyte restoration. This is for the fertilization to take place within the next 12-18 hours in the incubator. The insemination process will lead to the fertilization of the oocytes, and ensuing embryos are transferred to different culture media to be observed closely over the next 48 hours.
Step 4: Embryo Transfer
Good quality embryos are chosen and are transferred through the neck of the womb using a little catheter on the basis of their rate of development and morphology. The number of embryos that"ll be transferred is decided in line with the age and health background of the potential mother; alongside the number and quality of the embryos that have been released during each therapy cycle. For every couple, there"s a possibility of having several child. Embryo transfer is a pain-free treatment, much like having a cervical smear, and thankfully takes only a few minutes. After the task has been completed, we highly recommend a short resting period in the recovery room. The day after, oocyte retrieval progesterone and other supplements will be given to ensure that the lining of the uterus receives sufficient activation and sustains the implantation of the embryos. Quantitative pregnancy tests with blood must also be done 12-14 days after embryo transfer.
