What is Surrogacy
Gestational surrogacy is the process whereby a woman – the gestational surrogate – consents for an embryo transfer process, otherwise called an IVF Procedure. In this treatment, an embryo (or plural embryos) deriving from the couple acquiring the surrogacy service is implanted in the surrogate. If and when the procedure is successful, the surrogate becomes impregnated with the child of the couple (the supposed parents). The level of involvement with the surrogate thereafter is absolutely up to the intended parents – typically, the couple is involved with the initial IVF treatments, and being present at the point of labor and birth of their child. They then take responsibility for the child post-delivery and make the long term changeover to legal parenthood.
The process starts by choosing a surrogate mother for your embryo and IVF procedure
Afterward we sit down with you and adjust costs across a variety of realms including, but not limited to medical, alimentary, accommodations, legal fees, transportation and so forth.
Reliable, safe and innovative medical recommendations for the IVF procedure.
Reliable, safe and thorough attention during medical sessions supervising the pregnancy.
Legal aid with respect to the nationality of your child, as well as formal adoption procedures and assuming responsibility of the baby once the surrogate has given birth
What is IVF
IVF is a process women choose opt for when they are experiencing difficulties with infertility. The traditional IVF involves removing the human oocytes from the ovaries and the fertilization process, accomplished by “letting" motile spermatozoa to fertilize the oocytes into a special culture medium. Which means that once embryos are created, they are transferred into the uterine cavity through a process called Embryo Transfer. IVF is employed to imitate the biological functions, in vivo.
IVF is chosen for women who"ve blocked or harmed fallopian tubes, thus stopping the egg and sperm from meeting naturally. IVF also may help you as well as your partner if your infertility is unexplained and/or the male partner has a minimal sperm count. Other factors like mature age endometriosis, immunology, being overweight and mindset may lead a couple to infertility. IVF can be the treatment for you if these factors come into play during this stressful time in your lives.
Step 1: Follicular Development and Monitoring
During a woman"s normal menstrual period, LH and FSH are the hormones that your body uses to promote development and maturation of an individual oocyte. In order to optimize your pregnancy rates during IVF, it"s important to have more thatn one tmature oocyte for fertilization, embryo development and transfer into the uterus. The ovaries are therefore activated using higher amounts of the stimulating hormone that naturally exist within you. This is achieved using Gonadotrophin injections. A variety of stimulation regimes exist at the moment, and the physician chooses the main one best suited to your biological system, to be able to achieve a great number of high quality oocytes. Close monitoring of the follicles (the sacs that contain the growing oocytes in the ovaries) is required and it is achieved with consistent ultra-sound to be able to determine their size and their amounts. At the appropriate timing, an additional amount of hormones will be administered, aiding with the ultimate maturation of the oocytes. Predicated by all the available feedback and laboratory studies, the most suitable time for the restoration will be established.
Step 2: Oocyte Recovery
This is the actual procedure where the doctor gathers the oocytes of the womain’s body, a procedure demanding anesthesia. A little needle enters the top portion of the vagina, through the instruction of the ultrasound, into the ovary"s follicles. The fluid that is aspirated will then be taken to the lab, where the oocytes will be determined and transferred into culture media inside an incubator at 37oC to continue the maturation process for a few more hours.
Step 3: Fertilization of OOCYTS
In this stage, your partner must give his test of sperm on the day of the oocyte restoration which will be maintained until needed). His sperm will be carefully prepared with a special treatment and the healthy spermatozoa separately. There are approximately 100,000 motile spermatozoa added per oocyte, with 4-6 hours after oocyte restoration. This is for the fertilization to occur within the following 12-18 hours in the incubator. The insemination process will lead to the fertilization of the oocytes, and resulting embryos are transferred to different culture media to be viewed closely over the next 48 hours.
Step 4: Embryo Transfer
Top quality embryos are chosen and are transferred through the womb using a little catheter based on their rate of progress and morphology. The number of embryos which will be transferred is decided based on the age and health background of the potential mother; alongside the quantity and quality of the embryos which have now been released during each remedy cycle. For each couple, there is a possibility of experiencing more than one child. Embryo transfer is a pain-free treatment, much like having a cervical smear, and thankfully takes just a few minutes. After the process has been completed, we highly recommend a short resting period in the recovery room. The day after, oocyte retrieval progesterone and other supplements will be recommended to ensure that the lining of the uterus receives sufficient activation and sustains the implantation of the embryos. Quantitative pregnancy tests with blood also needs to be svheduled 12-14 days after embryo transfer.
We offer 24/7 support to every surrogate, expecting parent and egg donor. Our experienced specialists and support staff are available for any crisis and for time or psychologically sensitive situation.
